And Donald Trump has been speaking up about China actually since 2011.
His rhetoric kind of dies down after he becomes president.
Right.
But even on the campaign trail, in 2016...
His rhetoric escalates.
He says, China is raping us.
They're taking advantage of us.
He's screwing us over.
And so he's been actually very consistent because he noticed that China's taking advantage of the trading situation with the United States.
But since he's become president, he's had to kind of dial down the rhetoric on the surface.
Right.
But his actions have been to start a trade war in 2017, right?
