On April 29th, Detective Joel Weber and a colleague go to Talena's property, a brown, rustic lake house set back from the road. Corey invites them in and gives them a tour. It's the first time law enforcement has gone inside the house. She shows them around the living areas and the bedrooms where she and Talena slept.

Corey says at first she was booked for a misdemeanor, but the wife was making a lot of fuss, and so they elevated the charges to a felony. Ultimately, she says, it never went to trial. She got two years probation. It was all a big misunderstanding.
