One other thing I want to close out this episode on, so we have an episode out about this already, but one of the things ICE has been doing has been targeting migrant farm worker labor organizers. They have basically just kidnapped, just straight up broke this guy's window in his car and dragged him out.

A guy named Alfredo Juarez, who's known as Lalo, he is an organizer for Familias Unidas por la Justicia in Washington. And there is going to be a protest. This will be Saturday the 12th. It'll be tomorrow as you're listening to this on Friday at Portland City Hall at 2 p.m.

We're going to start with National Institutes of Health cutting a whole bunch of studies for vaccines for new diseases.

So many things, but like, for example, the NIH, the CDC, FDA, I believe. Yeah, many, many things. So, okay, there are lots and lots and lots of different rounds of budget cuts that are happening and grant cuts. from a whole bunch of different departments and agencies. So RFK Jr. 's thing was, well, we're not going to fund any COVID research because COVID is over. So no more research into COVID vaccine treatments. We're not going to fund that. Now, obviously, COVID is like not over. Trivially, obviously, you catch it and it makes you sick and sometimes you die and sometimes you get debilitating symptoms. long-term negative health outcomes.
