It allows kids to dream and see a possible future in baseball.
Yeah, so MLB's had an office there since late 2019, and the growth there has been huge.
And there is another Blue Jays prospect, Arjun Namala.
He is of Indian heritage, and he went to India, did a documentary series on baseball on his Indian heritage.
That got a couple million viewers out there.
And we're seeing, you know, it's small growth, but it's important growth.
There is baseball in schools.
Most schools don't have physical education, and if they do, it's cricket or soccer slash football.
And now there's baseball education.
The MLB Cup, that is the open competition.
The first year Major League Baseball was there, there were 12 teams.
And they, you know, I talked to Rio Takahashi, who works out there.
He's the director of international relations.
He said, you know, that first year we were begging coaches, can you just find 12 kids and bring them out?
We'll give them gloves.
We'll give them the shoes.
Like, it'll be great.
Last year, there were 150 teams and they weren't begging anymore.
And these were players who had also played baseball for, you know, one of the first times he said kids would make contact and they'd run out to the pitcher.
So now they're playing baseball.
