Francis McGee is an Irish actor who himself was a sailor and he plays a sort of a salty sea dog.
So it's basically, as you said, it's a ghost story.
The ship, the aforementioned Rosa Nevada, suddenly turns up in port, having been missing for 30 years.
And so the two young guys go on as deckhands and head off.
And when they come back, they realise they're 30 years in the past.
So it's a really interesting tale, really well shot by Jenkins because he's a masterly filmmaker.
And that sort of low budget filmmaking that he does lends itself to a ghost story because it's sort of staccato and because the sound isn't often perfectly in sync.
There's something about it because it's all been overlaid and overdubbed that adds to the spectral experience.
I will, because it's so, at the moment, we often talk about how well the Irish cinema world is doing, but also it's really the Irish drama, TV drama, some amazing TV dramas at the moment.
And if you look at this cast, you mentioned the names you mentioned there, but you also have Mo Dunford, you have Siobhan Cullen.
I mean, we really are, I know it's a cliche, punching our weight, but in terms of TV drama, and this is a really strong story.
It's a dysfunctional family, a recovering alcoholic.
There's a huge, I won't spoil it, but even episode one of season three, a very big secret, you know, fireworks go off.
So it's, yeah, we will miss them because it's been a top quality drama.
If they're nominated, if they're winning, BAFTA nominated.
And yeah, starting again and people are looking forward to revisiting the world of the Sheridans.
