And I was like, well, I first got diagnosed when I was 19, but I kind of like poo-pooed it.
I like took the medication for like a little bit, but I don't like taking medications.
I won't even take an aspirin or an Advil unless I absolutely like have to.
Like even surgeries, things like that, I try to take zero medications.
So I was like,
I think I'll just, I researched it and I was like, I'll just eat healthier.
And it didn't really seem to like make a difference until way later, 10 years later in my career that I was having trouble bringing my weight down.
It was eating like a rabbit and working out like insane.
And I still wasn't dropping the weight that I would normally move.
So the weight cuts became hellacious.
And that's not a good combination when you have hard weight cuts and then you are getting hit in the head.
You're more likely to get rocked and knocked out because you can pull water actually from your, basically the fluid in your brain, which is wild.
And that increases your chances of death.
experiencing a knockout or just an equilibrium issue when you're pulling that much weight and you're in that much heat for that long.
So we usually do this in majority, at that time, majority of the weight cuts were either in a very hot bath or in a sauna.
In a sauna, yeah.
Yeah.
It's like that Mike Tyson quote, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.
Yeah.
How would you react to that and try and stay present even after you just get smashed?
