So I was still using the same broken system.
And I thought it would work if I did it better somehow.
Even though I was like coming to the harsh realization that there was way more that needed to be done than just winning fights.
So, oh, what I was going to say though is that when you do something incorrectly, so let's say, I'll say this about...
Training in a gym setting.
Yeah.
Let's say that I am drilling a double leg and I'm going to do it a hundred times.
Every time I do it well, that's in your brain, the way the human brain works.
It's like, that's great.
But it's not really like acknowledged.
I think you're reinforcing the wiring, the myelin.
But when you do it wrong...
your body really cues on how to do it right.
So it's only because of the incorrect that you really, really hone in on how to do it correctly.
So it was really... I'm trying to remember what that book was now, but it was fascinating about the myelin and the brain is basically how I look at it in like a layman's terms.
It's like we have these...
pathways that we call it muscle memory and fighting.
It's like the term that we use, but these pathways that run through your brain and the more that you do this certain path, the more efficient that the firing of that network and connection that you're going to do it correctly is strengthened.
So you lay this, like you wrap around that.
So you make sure that this doesn't fire off to the left or the right, but it goes right where it's supposed to go.
