These things can certainly affect the average everyday woman too because women have a lot of pressure on us to be thinner and to do more and to take care of the family and to still work and do all the things.
We put a lot of pressure on ourselves.
So 80% of all autoimmune diseases exist in women.
Diseases exist in women.
And I think that to me says we're working against our biology and really hurting ourselves.
And it's easier to do that again as a woman who is like fluctuating and these two hormones and progesterone is basically the, once the opposite of stress.
So it's very impacted by stress.
I think all hormones can be impacted by stress, but progesterone is vital.
It's a hormone that you need access to to carry a successful pregnancy.
It is such an important hormone for regulating your cycle.
So some women have really long cycles or really horrible, painful cycles.
This is usually an indication.
It could be something else, but it's worth looking into if it's your hormones.
And so I think as a woman, what I would say the very first step is to start tracking your cycle and anything you notice with that, just jot it down, voice note it if you have to.
Not everybody likes to bust out a pen and paper these days.
You can handwrite it, great.
If not, but start noticing any trends because what I will say is that men have a predictable hormonal cycle and so do women.
They're very different.
Yeah.
But it's actually quite predictable if you pay attention.
