So if you're belt tightening guys, I had wondered about, you know, okay, well, so say we say the 200, but we, you know, we just basically, so we, we, we, there's some kind of contract for him.

when he comes into the you know if we bring him into the world cup squad um which i still think there's real value in that by the way um but maybe that's a different conversation maybe for a conversation for another day but like is there a chance they save themselves call it 200 grand over two years and they get to bring him in say you know with loads of bonuses and different things like that that he'd be able to negotiate in so it might cost a little bit more to bring him to the world cup

for the short period than the other players, but they still save themselves in the longer term.

And it's kind of, they extract value that way.

I kind of wonder, was there something here where they kind of say, look, let's set it aside because if you look at that, I thought the match against the Stormers was really, there were some really good examples about

why he will be valuable to you on a bench or in a game where you think, you know what, we're going to need a try here.

We're going to need something different.

Or you want that left boot.

The way he was able to, you know, that fend and some of the ways he was able to break through wingers, it's just different to what you get from

some lovely players like Jimmy O'Brien, Tommy O'Brien, Balakun, Stockdale.

He can just kind of barrel through guys and he has that offloading ability.

He can break the game up for you in different ways.

And I felt like Leinster probably missed a trick, not even picking him on the bench.

It probably wouldn't have mattered after the first half, right?

But he would have been valuable when they couldn't break down that Bordeaux defense because it gives you something different.

It takes two guys to take him down and he can still get the ball away.

And he's so dangerous when you're kind of close to the line.
