Even if you don't take it and you go, look, we took a shot at that one.
It's a punt.
I don't think, he's well capable of talking to the... Would that be more damaging, Will, to have him...
do interviews in the middle of windows.
He would be on a tightrope trying to answer.
What would he be able to answer about the problems that are going on?
You know that kind of way?
yeah look it's really difficult both setups Leinster and Ireland very difficult kind of decision to make my sense is like they should play it safe with Crowley you know from an Irish perspective I think he's absolutely key going forward I think he's head and shoulders above everyone else at the moment I don't even think it's close for that position so they should try and manage that back and get it sorted if they can and give him a hope like a longer pre-season might be something that's helpful particularly with a back injury that can kind of linger he can take his time with it he can really look after it really well
He looks like a guy who does keep himself in great shape.
So hopefully it's a quick fix.
So I wonder, is there value in bringing him on the tour now?
He'll obviously be gutted if he doesn't get to do the Australian-New Zealand legs.
But it sounds like if you're not here for the Australia game, why would you bring him back in at that stage?
Was it Japan and New Zealand?
I just don't see the value in that potentially.
It might be...
The risk reward is maybe not in sync there.
So, yeah, that leaves you then with the same situation that kind of Leinster find themselves in, which is very, very difficult and close to the side.
I mean, Byrne hasn't really stepped up when he's had the chance.
And, you know, Crawley, I feel like it's very hard to select him because he just has had no rugby, you know, but he was brilliant for Ireland in the Six Nations off the bench, but never a 10, really.
