How did it happen?
It's sort of a long story, but it basically comes down to MTV needed.
They were just getting into original programming.
And so what they needed was a bunch of teenagers to work practically for free.
Well, that's so funny because that was exactly our vision.
We're in college.
We're spending every available moment rehearsing.
like sketches that we're not, we're going to perform maybe twice in front of a bunch of sophomores, but we're so devoted to it.
And we're thinking to ourselves, well, we're going to make a career out of this.
How stupid do you have to be to think to yourself, my college sketch group is going to have, go on to fame and fortune.
I mean, how stupid is that?
But that's what we did.
I mean, minus the fame and the fortune, but it turned out okay for you, I think.
Same exact thing.
Don't make me the Mike Lawler of this story.
Here's the thing.
