Certainly the Muslims did that as they were really growing.
You just take territory and you kill people.
And that's something that defines you as a great country.

Yes, it's great.
You have to do great things together.
You don't want to fall into the trap of just diminishing everything.
Essentially, the problem with libertarianism is that libertarianism is centered entirely around the individual person.
It's all about man.
And because it takes this bad anthropology, this notion that man comes first, that we're self-created beings, that everything's about us, that we own ourselves, that we can do whatever we want.
We should have neutrality in our viewpoints.
It's all just about individual autonomy.
Paradoxically, that diminishes man.
The whole point of philosophical liberalism, political liberalism, was to make man even greater.
But by focusing entirely on man, we've made man smaller.
We've diminished man.
