I got a little bit of a chip on my shoulder and I'm going to go there and show what I have and and bring your game to Vancouver.
yeah uh for sure i mean i think um you know you kind of said it best like uh you know you don't want necessarily want to get traded but i think when you get traded for a guy like quinn and you're the only d in it it's like um you know you kind of look at the bigger picture of it going okay maybe you know i can come here and be that guy and and um you know bring that bring that element to it and
You know, I believe in myself.
I'm confident in myself that I can be that and, you know, work toward that.
But, yeah, I mean, I think that's the cool part is kind of like you said, I mean, Minnesota, you have so many great, Brody and Spurgeon, you know, Faber.
It's like they're so good.
And it's like there wasn't really much room for me to like,
do the things I want to do necessarily I think you know not playing those big minutes you know getting taken off the power play here and there it's like there's a lot you know that I think that like I said I think it's just different too like Minnesota is a very veteran team like when now there's not a lot of little detail things that you know you might be going like even here with Vancouver there's a lot of you know we're such a young team so it's like
there's so many little things that we go over as a team and as a group of young guys.
And it's like, um, you know, we weren't doing those things in Minnesota just cause it's, like I said, it's a veteran team and these guys had been through it already.
So, um, I think it's, it's, like I said, it's a great opportunity for me.
Um, very excited.
I know.
I mean, we were in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago and it's beautiful city.
So, um, you know, like I said, it's not easy and it's not, uh,
It was a little bit of a whirlwind, but the guys here have been great too.
So I'm just excited.
Biz, when you asked him how long the conversation was, when I got traded by the meanest man in hockey, Bob Murray from Anaheim to Edmonton, he called me.
I go, hello?
He goes, hey, Ryan, it's Bob Murray.
