I mean, he's one of a kind.
He's such a special human.
He's just a fun guy.
Like, he's such like a, you know, he's, what is he, 35, 36?
He's played, you know, I was telling my dad that he played for, you know, Atlanta when he first came.
My dad was baffled that he played for a team that's not even a team anymore.
Yeah.
So, like, it's crazy how long he's been in the league and, you know, what he's been able to do.
And you see why, you know, he has so much respect around the league just through guys, just because of the person he is.
And, I mean, he took me under his wing, you know, always invited me to his house for dinner and just never treated me like, you know, I'm this young guy that needs to figure it out.
It's like...
just treated me as one of the guys and, you know, wanted me to be a part of it and wanted me to not miss out on anything because I think, you know, he knows that at the end of the day, you'll remember the stories and the good times and the laughs, you know, over any hockey games unless you really won a cup.
So it's like, you know, I really appreciate him for all that.
But then you also have, you know, like, Bold's and Fabe's and, you know, like, Hartman.
Like, you have so many of these guys and Foligno and Spurgeon, like,
It's just such a, it's like such a great group.
And I think that was the hardest part when Billy called me was like,
You know, I think that was the hardest thing to kind of reflect on.
I was like, God, like, I'm going to miss those guys.
You know, I know it was quick, but it's like the fact that it was that quick and you get that close with those guys, it's like, you know, it hurts.
