No, I mean, you know what?
It's a great point, Kipper, and it's one I thought coming into the series.
I thought whoever got out of this round, it's going to be a battle of attrition on who could even be able to stand up to Colorado in the next round.
And look, L.A.
has done a quality job trying to make this thing a series and a couple 2-1 games, but the reality is that Colorado still won them.
So it looks like that that could be a short series, and they're going to get a lot of rest.
And these two teams here in Dallas and Minnesota are just going to beat the heck out of each other.
There's a lot of venom between these two teams.
They don't like each other.
You just should hear the way they talk about each other in the locker room when the cameras are off, especially from Minnesota's standpoint toward them.
So I do think this thing is just going to continue to be fast, physical, and whoever comes out of it is probably going to be the underdog going into the next round.
To your point, I mean, look, the Wild, they had a chance to make this 2-0, didn't do it.
It is important from their standpoint to try to take advantage here of being here at home where they've been really, you know, they've been good, especially against Dallas this year.
And I think that they're going to try to do that starting tonight.
Well, it was funny because Monday I saw Scott White and Jim Nill just sitting in the stands at the morning skate, and I felt like going up there and trying to be like, are you supposed to be in Toronto?
But it sounds like he actually went there the next day.
So I'll be looking for Scott White in the press box here at Frank's Arena tonight.
But, I mean, I think that he's, you know, look, his reputation is starting to be on the rise here in the National Hockey League.
