So it's still to be determined exactly what the buyout market is.
But I'm starting to think that the comparison is between J.D.
Davidson and a big rather than J.D.
Davidson and another guard.
Because it just seems like, you know, whenever the Rockets feel like they need an extra ball handler, Emei has no hesitation turning to J.D.
Davidson.
And this game tonight, even coming out of the All-Star break and against a Hornets team that, you know, was a little undermanned due to the suspensions,
Clint Capella only played nine minutes.
And so I do think that there's a world where Dave, you've mentioned Kavon Looney before, but if they could get a third dig to replicate a little bit of what they had when it was Alpey, Steven and Clint and do a little closer to what Steven gave them, you're never going to fully replace Steven, but at least give them some elements of that.
I think that might be the comparison rather than JD to another guard because, you know, they've had opportunities really ever since, you know, Chris Paul and the Clippers parted ways back in December.
Like, they've had opportunities to add a guard for the sake of adding a guard.
They haven't.
And in these matchups like the Thunder where they clearly need
you know, an additional ball handler, it doesn't seem like they are hesitant to turn to JD at all.
So I really am starting to think it's not about necessarily the Rockets wanting to upgrade JD Davidson.
It's more, is there a big that they like that can potentially fill that Stephen hole?
I don't know that.
That's not sourced to me.
That's just sort of my reading of the tea leaves.
And, you know, they're 34 and 20 now.
