Cities like Singapore, Barcelona, and Dubai are already using AI to monitor traffic, reduce energy use, and manage public transport, even responding to emergencies.
Usually, it's the ethics of data.
To work, smart cities need a constant stream of surveillance, cameras, sensors, and location tracking.
And that opens up major questions about who's watching and for what reason.
