So some of the biggest convenience purchases that I have that ultimately I find lead to more happiness in my life are things like I have a cleaning service every two weeks.
Someone comes for two hours.
They do a clean in my house and it's good for my mental health.
And I also think it's really good for my relationship, if I'm being honest.
I have other convenience purchases like a contraception delivery service, Kinfertility.
Doesn't seem like a happiness purchase, but not having to go into the doctor's
and get a script and then go to the chemist and go through all that painful stuff just to get a contraception prescription.
It just brings a little piece of happiness into my life.
Other things that I invest in are things like Woolworth's unlimited delivery service.
I hate going into grocery stores and not having to do that definitely brings me joy.
When it comes to purchases that I would say are probably more direct
related to my happiness.
One area where I try not to limit myself is spending money on books.
I am a really big reader, nonfiction and fiction, and every morning I'm always reading a book.
And if I ever read a little sample of a book, find it interesting, feel my brain buzzing, I try not to limit myself and I will spend as much money as is needed on books.
which isn't as extravagant as it sounds because it's not like books are wildly expensive.
But having that no limit budget when it comes to books brings me a lot of happiness.
Absolutely.
And one of my values is freedom.
So if I feel super trapped in a lot of different areas of my life, I don't feel like I'm at my happiest.
