After addressing European leaders at the annual Munich Security Conference, Secretary Rubio made a short stop in Slovakia to discuss energy and security cooperation with Prime Minister Robert Fico, who met with Trump and Rubio in Florida last month.

Here in Budapest, his last stop, Rubio is meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who is a darling of Trump's MAGA movement for his anti-immigrant and Christian nationalist views.

Secretary Rubio is visiting Slovakia and Hungary, two European Union countries that lean toward Russia and rely on Russian energy.

And it was in Slovakia where he was asked why he didn't sign on to an investigation into the Navalny poisoning by other European partners.

He says the five allies came to their own conclusions based on their own intelligence reports.

Rubio says their findings were troubling.

Russia has denied responsibility for Navalny's death two years ago in a Siberian prison.
