I failed.

I didn't get anywhere near as far as I wanted to.

And Tassie said, you still got that $10?

I said, yeah, do you want it?

He said, no, I'll have a new one when you get out.

I had it there for about three or four days and I completely forgot about the $10 note.

And Tassie... He wanted a fresh one.

The luck of it all is that he lost his radiator cap on his truck and he had to go back to look for the radiator cap.

Anyway, he couldn't find it.

So he was about an hour behind where he would have been.

We would have missed him.

we would have passed each other in a different way.

And so he come down and I said to the boys, I said, don't rush him, don't rush him, because they'll think we're convicts or that we're not honourable people.

Let's just wait and hide until the truck gets up close.

He stopped.

And I said, you're not going to believe this, but we're off the Bly Star with the crew of what's left of the Bly Star.

He said, nah, yeah, they're all dead.

They cancelled the search days ago.

I said, they what?

And I was absolutely livid.
