How does that happen to a seasoned pro?

You hit the button.

I tried to do – You look like you were in an interview room under –

Extreme duress.

You had beads of sweat on your forehead.

You were stabbing at buttons.

You looked like you just, I don't know, you had one minute to get the nuclear codes.

And why did you not want to leave?

Because I was getting out of an accounting meeting.

My accountant had come in and I'd gone, I've got to go.

Seriously, I sit there and nod.

You know me.

Nothing's getting through.

Once they pull out the whiteboard and the slide rule, what am I going to do?

And anyway, then I go, sorry, guys, I have to leave this meeting because I have to go do a podcast.

So then I walk literally across the corridor to our podcast studio and there you are, incapable, like a monkey whacking away at the keyboard, but I'm not going anywhere because I'm getting out of it.

So between the two of us, you were hopeless at your job and I wasn't going anywhere.

You weren't doing yours.

And here we are 24 hours later.

And we'll see if it's worth it because I had to rewrite the script last night.
