I feel like it probably makes commercially sense that London City Lionesses are quite a booming club at the minute.
I think they play at Hayes Lane.
I remember they've sold out there once or twice and had 4,000 or 5,000 people there.
This is a club that's got some real traction, has got itself to WSL.
And they've also done it in a...
what's the right word to describe it, in their own way, probably, and in a very unique way.
But also, they're doing quite, they're trying to, whatever we think of women's football is regardless, right?
But they're doing it in a very, they're doing it in their way that feels right for them.
And you've got to commend it because they're trying to bring more female people, form females into their sport.
I don't really mind it.
But I do think ultimately, I think it's a kick in the teeth to the people that are trying to rebirth the New Orleans a little bit here, because it's basically bringing back the shadow of the old club when they're trying to prove existence and try and put it right.
and trying to then make an effort to get us back up to the upper echelon, so to speak, which is very hard to do without real funding.
And that's something I suppose a lot of people feel, especially in the women's game.
It's a difficult one.
It feels tough.
If you're Millwall, you probably think, you know, this commercially could be good for us.
But I think once we relinquish control of it, it should be, for me, a decision of not messing around with it ever again and just kind of letting that kind of exist in its own right.
and it welcomed it back what we're going to do try to put the Millwall badge back on them because I think they're definitely not the kind of people that want to have the Millwall badge associated with them that's my personal take on it I just feel like that's the assumption when I read up on them and see the stories online so yeah look for me like it does feel a strange decision I'm sure there's some logistics behind that works for Millwall at the time when they've agreed to it but if you're the Lionesses like the Millwall Lionesses I think it feels like a real kick in the teeth to them and shows you know it's like
Probably not, no.
I think that's why it doesn't offend me that much because I don't watch it, like you say.
