Well, absolutely.
Now, a series I hosted for Discovery Network called Black Files Declassified featured an episode on less-than-lethal weapons, including long-range acoustic devices, or LRADs.
What's not known is whether this type of weapon was deployed during the Maduro capture.
Sonic weapons can be used to incapacitate targeted crowds or individuals, but whether the military would decide to use such a weapon during such a dangerous operation rather than rely on lethality, well, that's not known.
