It was like someone came in here, he said, pointing to his own head.

Jared said he went to the hospital after doing a substance test.

Jared mumbled and shook his head to most of the questions.

But when he did actually speak, it still didn't make any sense.

He claimed that he had never touched meth in his life until that day.

But then he said he'd been doing it for two weeks.

The timeline was a little fuzzy.

Jared was blaming the whole thing on drugs, but he was reluctant to be specific about what he did or why.

Sometimes he would just stare back at the detectives, refusing to say a word.

He would look as though he was about to cry, then return to a dazed and confused state.

This dude cracks a joke?

It was hard to gauge where his head was at.

Almost crying one moment, stoic the next.

Then, making jokes.

Jared was speaking in broken sentences it was hard to follow his train of thought but he said that something took control of him something on the screen was telling him what to do and it would stop time

He claimed he wasn't in control of himself.

That's when he started hearing commands.

Time stood still, and the screen was filled with numbers.

A voice told him what to do, and if he didn't listen, it would make him hurt.

But after getting all of that off his chest, he started answering questions.
