reviewed the deal.
The parties withdrew from review and Smartmatic divested Sequoia.
What we want right now is for the Trump administration to declassify and make public this CFIUS review of Smartmatic
and Sequoia back in 2005, 2006, 2007.
Time has long passed so they can't claim sources and methods, but we wanna know what was Congress concerned about with these voting machines from a national security perspective that Congress on a bipartisan basis asked for a CFIUS review.
So if there were national security concerns about our election machines,
critical infrastructure, I think the public has a right to know.
Do we have foreign governments like Venezuela, for example, tampering with these voting machines?
And that's something that we need to find out.
I need to get back to you on that, Steve.
I would think that Secretary Besson has declassification authority on this as the Treasury Secretary.
If not, then maybe it's something that could come from an executive order from the president.

And we stopped that.
