I mean, there were rangers that got hit and didn't lose any birds.

So then what talked you out of it?

There was a guy on board from the Ranger Battalion.

He got thrown on the aircraft at the last minute.

And he said, no, no, I don't remember exactly what he said.

But there was also an AC-130 there.

There was Little Bird guns there.

And arguably, that's their primary mission is to take out shit like this.

That really shouldn't be our mission.

but they weren't doing it.

And the book I read said the AC-130 took it out.

I don't know if that's actually what happened.

It ultimately stopped, but shit, I thought they ran out of ammo.
