without naturally getting a chance to go out and play in a game that counts.
But, you know, if people like McKee based upon what he does in the preseason and there's someone out there and the Eagles are looking to flip him now, then it wouldn't be a surprise and Dalton could end up just being the first domino before it happens.
Well, I reported that the Rams were talking to the Eagles about a trade for A.J.
Brown, which would have resulted in them either trading or cutting Devontae Adams, and they were making calls about possibly trading Adams as they were looking at Brown, but they saw something that caused them to tap out.
And maybe it was a combination of what we'd have to give up to A.J.

But they saw something in their preliminary research that caused him to walk away.
The guy's going to get a chance, and it's not like the Steelers are going to have to take him early.
He'll be available if they decide they want him.
And who knows what Mike McCarthy's approach is going to be.

Now, he landed in Green Bay, and Aaron Rodgers was already there.
He landed in Dallas, and Dak Prescott was already there.

I remember hearing at the time it was those two and McCarthy that were the ones who understood what Mahomes could be, and I don't know how actively McCarthy scouted him.
It would have been big news, though, because
He's in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers.
If they were kicking tires on the homes, people would have wondered what the hell's going on.
I mean, that's what I've heard.
