Everybody knew they were going to take Najee Harris, and they sat and waited, and he fell to them.

Nobody jumped the line to get Najee Harris.

The question is, number one, will someone take Ty Simpson before he gets to the Steelers?

And then number two, will somebody trade up to whoever has number 20 to try to get Ty Simpson before the Steelers can get him?

We've seen the Steelers willing to trade up

to really get a guy they want.

They did it with Antonio Holmes.

They did it with Troy Polamalu.

I think they did it with someone else, too.

Look, no one's going to tell you the truth right now.

And the Steelers, I know, usually don't play games.

But how I sat with Omar Khan at the scouting combine and asked him about

Tyree kill because Tyree kill was a free agent and it was okay for any team to talk about.

And he said, we're fine with the group we now have.

And then two weeks later, they got Michael Pittman.

So who knows what to believe?

And this is the time of year where who knows what to believe is the subtext and the sub headline for the entire NFL.

And the one thing that crystallized for me today after we played clips from the podcast and really thought through how it got to the point where the Ravens were ambivalent about this and they were hesitant and they were careful and they were cautious and they wanted to take a close look at the knee that had been surgically repaired in January.
