Doves are great.
The first time I went out dove hunting on my own, I think Sam came out with me and we were camping out there.
We both shot a couple doves during the day and we'd set up a fire and we were just grilling the meat over the open flame.
Had some seasoning that from a local, it's not even local, it's up in Denver, but a butcher shop up in Denver that I really like.
And I, dude, I can't...
recall tasting something that good.
And yeah, it was like, you, you get into it later and no doves, not that amazing, but for some reason it was just a, they were hard fought birds and, um, it was my first time doing it.
