Heaven forbid health should be Monday to Friday, for goodness sake.

We were dealing with ACC last hour, and I'm just astonished at how many people fall over every year in this country, and yet I look in your area.

I mean, what is it, $33 billion for the health budget?

Do you look at that number and go, what?

I mean, 5 million people, $33 billion, and it's never enough.

Yeah, I get that.

But I mean, when you look at a small nation of 5 million people and you've got a bill of 33 billion and climbing, are we just ill?

Are we just sick and ill and fall over a lot?

Is that what we are as a nation?

They just seem stunning numbers to me.

Talk about in the dumps.

This Westpac Employment Confidence Survey is down 12.5 points.

We're at 83.1, lowest reading since the survey began, and that was 22 years ago.
