Why did we have to carry out this operation against Iran?

Oh, absolutely.

Yes.

I just want to say...

I am more fearful than ever after this briefing that we may be putting boots on the ground and that troops from the United States may be necessary to accomplish objectives that the administration seems to have.

But I also am no more clear on what the priorities are going to be of the administration going forward.

whether it is destroying the nuclear capacity of Iran or simply the missiles or regime change or stopping terrorist activities.

And I think the administration owes it to the American people to have briefings, not just for members of Congress, but for the American public.

Nothing here should have been classified.

It should be available to the American people.

Lindsay hasn't seen a fist fight.

He hasn't wanted to turn into a bombing, right?

So I just take it with a grain of salt.

If Israel...

fired upon Iran and took action against Iran to take out the missiles, then they would have immediately retaliated against U.S.

personnel and assets.

We have troops in harm's way and we have many Americans in the region and that was of great concern.

They gave us operational details.

They gave us the rationale for what was done.

And I was very satisfied with the briefing.
