You know, Mike, always a sad day for me because it is our final program of the year.
It's been a great year for all of us, Scones, Eddie Scazzeri, you, me.
We love doing this show because we love the game of football.
Now, interestingly enough, this game in particular, Super Bowl 60, I don't know about you guys out in Detroit, but us guys here back in New York just don't feel the love.
We don't feel the juice.
We don't feel the excitement.
Nope.
But what we have found out is that the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks will become the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.
They will draft Fernando Mendoza, which I think is a great start for them.
And it just goes to show you that timing is everything in the NFL these days.
What do you think of the kid?
Like I said, timing is everything.
I think if he were in another draft and maybe a guy like Trevor Lawrence or Andrew Luck were in there, he was not going to go No.
1.
But I've got to tell you...
I'm so impressed with the young man.
I'm so impressed with his personal story with his mom.
I'm so impressed with how his teammates really respect him.
You watch him on the field.
He never complains to the officials.
