It feels like one of those things that you screwed up once. I don't think you need to do it again. Here's the thing. You didn't ruin this guy's life. You didn't ruin the Raising Cain situation. But I think if the guy just says, hey, I have no idea who that person is, so... they probably just move on and nothing really matters. I don't think in the grand scheme of things, you screwed anything up really, but now you're going to have to go back into that raising canes.
