So are we to say that women aren't artists and creators and writers and thinkers and scientists?
I mean, it's absurd when you think about all the institutional barriers women have had to suffer through and had to fight and still are fighting to be validated.
So I think that if you take this idea that if you are working really hard in your field,
You are that person.
And I think that self-accreditation is okay.
As a matter of fact, it's urgently necessary in order for you to get out of bed and go back to your desk or go back to your table.
You spend a lot of time researching.

And I understand you took a class at Harvard Business School when you were writing Free Fruit for Millionaires because your main character, Casey, was a milliner.
You took an entire semester at the Fashion Institute of Technology to learn how to make hats.
How are your hat-making skills, by the way?
I was thinking about that, like, ooh, I have to ask Min about that.
Oh, I took a semester at FIT in millinery because I could afford it.
I spent actually only one day at HBS applying.
Right.
I know that you... Yeah, you asked, how do you get to go to a class?
And you're like, apply.
Yeah, so I applied to HBS.
So in order to apply, you have to go for a full day and take a class.
