It's really kind of kicking on.

And at a certain point in series two, they realise that actually Angel is really good and they're going to do a spin-off show.

And that happens when series three is happening.

Now, what is really interesting to me is, you know, essentially Cordelia goes as well, doesn't she?

She goes off to join him.

Joss Whedon has to run that show as well.

So for me, that is almost like the seeds of destruction because essentially what happens is Joss Whedon, who is the creator of the whole world, has to work too bloody hard.

kind of shattered, and although the show continues to be really, really great, there are pressures that are put on various characters within that show that eventually come out in the wash and are not great, I would say.

In terms of the personal... In terms of how the show is run, the characters within it, you know, the interrelationships just all kind of go a bit wrong.

The other factor was that because...

The first series was really successful.

Like movie type people are looking at Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Right.

And so she does, I know what you did last summer.

She does Scream 2 and she does Cruel Intentions.

Absolutely iconic.

She is completely great in them.

But Joss Whedon doesn't like it and he says some mean things about her in Cruel Intentions.

He calls it porny.
