And then by the time I hit 30, I had really sort of realized that this film basically is me.
This film is, she is my hero.
This film is incredible.

There's basically, I just love this film so much though.
And I just find it, when people ask why I like it so much, my main immediate response is just, I find it wildly entertaining.
Like I am not bored for a second in this film.
I am thoroughly enthralled throughout from start to finish.
The minute it begins, I feel so like excited and I'm just this exhilarated.
And because of the energy of the movie, this like aggressiveness, which I'm sure we'll get into, of the movie, it's just action, action, action.
There is not, they often say about David Foster Wallace's, what's his big book?
The Infinite Jest.
I remember Dave Eggers wrote a thing about that saying there's not a single word wasted in that book.
I would disagree with him on that.
But there is not a single second wasted in Showgirls.
Everything Verhoeven did was perfection to me.
Huge in his home country as well.
