And if you see the documentaries about her and she was someone who, as we find out from Nomi, had a really rough life and was, you know, sexually assaulted a lot and raped a lot and kind of had to use prostitution to get by, et cetera.

And watching this, I was like, this is really giving the energy of Eileen Wuornos, of somebody who's always on edge and always just ready to be like attacked all the time.

And then,

They explained that she'd been done for, you know, prostitution before and drugs and that she basically had been kicked out of a foster home and watched her dad kill her mom.

And basically the idea is she had a rough life and had been in the drugs, in the vice game, which had turned her into this kind of like tough, tough character.

But this is not it.

But this does not explain, for us as the artists, it's like, what is up with this fucking girl?

There was one, I don't know who it was who said it, I think it may have been in the commentary on the special edition, which of course I own.

And the guy was saying, if you watch it, she's either staring or kicking.

Those are her two movements in the entire film.

And it's so true.

Kicking with her hands or everything is like when her new friend, who's just for no reason at all being nice to her, just says, you know, the famous, where are you from?
