There's so much actual cinematic greatness to it and to have all that cinematic greatness for this movie.

pretty kind of a useless film that kind of trying to say stuff but also wasn't saying anything at all I think that's really hard to come by that's why I find it so fascinating there are some people that are like really like read into it and can find like oh that some of the dance scenes represent like Ben Hur like people really people can read you can read so much you can read into it that is like about sort of the state of America and how America will just spit you out in the end and how this is kind of the cycle of capitalism I think that's true

And it is very Verhoeven as well.

And I think that's what makes it, for me, you can watch it on the face as just a ridiculous, dumb film.

I guarantee, for me, I think you will be entertained because it's so silly and over the top and fun.

But then you can also genuinely appreciate things about it and read into stuff.

The fact that her name is Nomi.

The name Nomi could mean, like, know me, as in, please can you get to know me?

Or it can mean... Know me.

Know me.

Or it can mean, like, no, me.

You know, there's so much...

There's so much to it.

You know, Andrew Carver, his name is Carver, Carver.

He's the rapist guy.

You know, the fact that the guy, Zach, she's from playing from Zach Morris, from Crystal Connors.

I found this, I only just thought of this when I was watching it last night, that a running joke in the movie is that Nomi mispronounces Versace and calls it Versace.

Crystal tells her over a glass of champagne, like, oh, I named myself after this.
