So I think that's us thinking, well, it's Verhoeven, so it might be a satire.

It's not.

Because basic instinct isn't really a satire.

No, that's just a thriller.

Yeah, that's a thriller.

This is a buy-and-buy thriller.

And I think that's, like I said, that's what this is trying to be.

And I think to try and, you can watch it through a satirical lens, which, cool, go for it, which I mentioned before, you can make it about a, you know, capital, you can do all that, but that's not, I don't think that's what the film was trying to do.

And I think you're doing yourself a disservice.

It's fun to have that conversation, but I think it's more fun to take the film as it is.

That's what I find.

When you were saying what's good about it, I was like, just watch it.

It's so ridiculous.

It's a very, it's just a ridiculous, ridiculous movie that you can't believe got made.

And it looks great.

It looks amazing.

Well, he does Starship Troopers and then he does that...

Hollow Man, and that's kind of it.

He won, he did that, what was it, the one with Isabelle Hubert, Elle, and he got the Golden Globe for that for best foreign film, but he essentially was sent back to Europe, basically.
