I mean, I would say it's his first love.

And now, of course, Annabelle and obviously the Lord.

But I've never seen him really be nervous with music.

That's just kind of a natural.

I know he gets nervous, but he doesn't.

You just don't see that a lot from him.

And so it was actually Layla's idea.

She said, Mom, we should plan an outdoor concert with family and friends in Black Mountain with all the people that we love and are close to us here.

And Max should do it in the middle of the concert.

And we were like, oh, that will be amazing.

Because, you know, people are different.

Some people would never want to be proposed to in a public setting like that.

But Annabelle is one of these.

She is just a ball of joy, and she loves people, and she loves big groups and settings, which is good because she's coming into a crazy family.

And so we thought, oh, that'll be perfect.

And so we planned it all out.

Our dear friends have a big yard and they basically opened it up for a pretty large, it was meant to be a little intimate gathering, but it was probably what, 200 people?

Ish.

Yes, it was so sweet.

And we pulled a trailer up and we decorated the trailer and hung lights from it and, you know, made it look so sweet.
