And I mean, it was like sports fire.
I was just there to listen.
And, you know, the way these guys would tell stories and the way Terry would own the room and laugh and just, and Mike Downey, God bless him, you know, a blessed memory.
Mike, we lost him a year or so ago, too.
Terry always made noises.
The Cardinals.
And in my eight years of doing updates, it took a long time to do that.
But I always appreciated the fact that Terry was Terry every single time.
But then after the years went on, I understood that's great radio.
And then in the 83 days, I was just playing along for the ride.
And it was just a small part of it.
There it is.
To be a small part of the show.
I think there's always going to be a certain part of people that I've met over the years that you never want to see again.
But there's another part of it that couldn't be nicer to you, that couldn't be better.
How much can I trust that my grandkids and their kids, whatever,
are going to be okay in 10 years or 15 years or 20 years from now.
I can't.
I don't know.
I think so.
