Her name was Leah White.

Leah White, yeah.

She was amazing and she identified that I had a strong sense of justice and I was a bit of a cheeky boy when I was in high school.

Teenage Mohammed.

Teenage Mohammed, I think, was an attention seeker.

But, you know, I did get bullied early on in high school.

And that was obviously kids used to mimic my stutter.

And I had a mentality, you know, let me get them first before they get me.

And it got me into trouble.

I used to get into fights.

And at one point, I almost got expelled.

And so I was at a precipice.

around the ages of 13, 14, 15.

And what Leah did was identify that I was, my reading work was great.

And she had told me to join debating.

But how can I join debating if I can't even speak properly?

And she went and found a speech therapist course for me to enter at La Trobe University.

It was led by a renowned speech therapist by the name of Susan Block.
