You know, we all want to be at the finish line, right?

So start simple, start with a daily sketch practice.

start building an email list by giving away your art.

I know that sounds radical, but that's what's worked for me.

Okay, so I've been giving away sketches for free since 2008 or 9.

And I started building my email list then, which was only a handful of people, probably like 10 to 15.

something, which is great.

There's no small list shame.

Um, today I have 13,000 daily subscribers for the Buddha doodles lists.

And I think I have a total of 15,000 subscribers total for all my email lists, but social social is where it's at for me.

And I definitely believe in list building and funneling, you know, as much as you can into your email lists.

But most of my, um,

referrals come from Facebook.

So we have over 160,000 fans on Facebook and that was through.

So step-by-step for that, like I started the Facebook community about two years ago, um, after I had already given away hundreds of comics.

And so people like immediately were like, Oh, this is on Facebook.

So, and, um, this was after only sharing them on Tumblr and, um,

my email list.

So yeah, to come back to the daily sketch for, so for those that are listening, giving away or are building an email list, finding an easy platform.

I'm all about the easy out of the box thing.
