This feels so weird to say, but there's that great story about when you were going to try to attempt suicide.
This is what happened.
Well, I tried to commit suicide, but I was like, I hung myself from my shower curtain rod.
But then the rod started bending and I was like, oh, shit, I'm too fat to kill myself.
So I got down and I'm like, OK, I'll try again when I reach my goal weight, which means I'm never going to kill myself.
But I mean, how depressing.
But that's what healing is.
When you can actually laugh at the most terrible thing.
It's all true.
That's all real.
When you can laugh at it, it's like I'm going to live like a laughing is an unexpected breath that you take that ensures your life for the next 15 seconds or whatever.
So laughing is like longevity.
Laughing is life affirming in a very, very granular, basic way.
