Pope Leo joined anthropic co-founder Christopher Olah today at the Vatican to launch the first encyclical on artificial intelligence, warning about its dangerous impacts.

The pontiff says AI could potentially accelerate the pace of conflicts.

His position could also become a new flashpoint with the Trump administration after ordering all U.S.

agencies to stop using Anthropix technology when the company refused to give the U.S.

military unrestricted use.

Shares in Delivery Hero surged 10% today in Germany following an $11 billion takeover offer by Uber this weekend.

But investors are betting a higher price will be required to close a deal.

DoorDash has also expressed interest in Delivery Hero's Middle Eastern business, Talabat, but has yet to put in an offer.

And SoftBank shares climbed to a record high today, up 4.6 percent, spurred by hopes of big returns from the Japanese investors' stakes in OpenAI and SB Energy should the two go public.

OpenAI could file for an IPO in the coming days.
