Yeah.
So when you look at it in a symbolic way, what it's really talking about is how when you are dead or deny spirituality, you are dead.
You're blind to the truth or you wither up and don't produce fruit or good works anymore, et cetera.
But when you accept and acknowledge the divine,
Then you are no longer withered, you're full, and you're producing good fruit, and you have the eyes to see, etc.
So it's a very violent and weird story.
But when you look beyond that at the symbolism, it's actually really interesting.
Oh, yeah, it's not.
Yeah, the church didn't like any of these texts.
So like I said, it's not Gnostic, but it's certainly not a book the church liked.
Yeah, they don't want that out there, right?
Yeah.
I mean, as you can see, it doesn't really fit very well with their narrative of Jesus.
Yeah.
So I don't believe that this literally happened.
Right.
I don't believe historically Jesus as a kid was going around knocking kids off.
Yeah.
But I believe that it embeds symbolically truths of existence.
