So just to be clear, this is the infancy gospel of Thomas.
There's another book called the gospel of Thomas.
They're very different books.
Got it.
So I just want to be clear.
So the infancy gospel of Thomas is,
It's not the Gospel of Thomas, and it's not Gnostic.
But it's its own book.
And it's a very interesting, very strange one.
And essentially, if we go by the Bible, we don't know much about what happened during Christ's childhood.
It's just, oh, he's born in Bethlehem.
And then fast forward to when he's in his teenage years and he's teaching in a synagogue and then fast forward to when he's an adult.
So you don't really see very much at all what happened between being born and an adult, except this one little scene of him teaching some people.
So what the Infancy Gospel of Thomas proposes to do is say, well, here's what happened when Jesus was a child.
And it's a really wild one.
It starts off when I believe he was five, maybe four, but I think five.
And essentially, he's not very nice.
He kills a lot of people, basically.
At five?
Yes, at five.
