It was about the idea of having the HUD show when the mics are live.
This is something that when talking to MC about HUD stuff that we wanted to do, it wouldn't be on the screen all the time, but it could be something that we pop in in like a mid-round 3v3, you know, like when there's a lull.
So it wouldn't be there like when all 10 players are live leaving spawn or whatever, but something that could pop up in more mid-round situations to see who's doing a lot of talking and kind of...
Yeah, what else we got here?
Is there a stigma on talent who have worked on other titles, multiple esports titles?
Is there a benefit to someone who would want to pursue work within CS to go look for opportunities to work in esports outside of the game experience?
I think that question there is probably like depending on the role that you're playing.
So say if you're like a stage host or an interviewer, or maybe even a desk host to some degree, or even a play by play commentator.
i think like doing other games and stuff skills are transferable but i think if you're doing like the color commentary role or an analyst role if you're doing other things you must have a giga brain to be able to be like like i couldn't imagine having to think about another game while i'm already thinking about all the things with this game and the scene and the players and the strategy and like for i don't think i would have the capacity to do that so i would imagine it'd be detrimental
Not with what we're doing, I don't think, but that's why I'm saying that it could be if you are a play-by-play commentator or something, though.
It depends on like what scale you're talking about, right?
Like if we're talking about someone who is getting into a very low end of something and is doing things for, I don't know, they cast a best of three and they get 50 bucks for the day and they do four best of threes or something, right?
Like sounds crazy to think of with what we do, but maybe that's the way in for someone.
And if it means they have to go and cast,
like, I don't know, some new title to get reps in and be on the mic and do those things and become comfortable with it.
I think there's no reason you couldn't or shouldn't.
No, no, no.
Well, it does.
It is.
It does.
