i think like doing other games and stuff skills are transferable but i think if you're doing like the color commentary role or an analyst role if you're doing other things you must have a giga brain to be able to be like like i couldn't imagine having to think about another game while i'm already thinking about all the things with this game and the scene and the players and the strategy and like for i don't think i would have the capacity to do that so i would imagine it'd be detrimental
Not with what we're doing, I don't think, but that's why I'm saying that it could be if you are a play-by-play commentator or something, though.
It depends on like what scale you're talking about, right?
Like if we're talking about someone who is getting into a very low end of something and is doing things for, I don't know, they cast a best of three and they get 50 bucks for the day and they do four best of threes or something, right?
Like sounds crazy to think of with what we do, but maybe that's the way in for someone.
And if it means they have to go and cast,
like, I don't know, some new title to get reps in and be on the mic and do those things and become comfortable with it.
I think there's no reason you couldn't or shouldn't.
No, no, no.
Well, it does.
It is.
It does.
Like I get this question.
Sometimes people will send me an email or they ask me in person and they're like, Hey, like, so how can you give me advice on how to get into this thing?
And I always find it such a hard question to answer because I have to say like, from my perspective, we're the worst people to ask that question to.
I'm like, yeah, I was playing pro.
And then when I stopped playing pro, I got an opportunity to go try the analyst desk.
And that's where it started.
It's like, I didn't go, I didn't follow a path that makes sense to get to this point, right?
Like I didn't work in production.
