That's always a priority is trying to make everybody feel as safe as possible and that they belong.
By saying the library is the house of books, the house of community, the house of good things.
And sometimes that includes quiet moments, library voices, and people are like, okay, cool.
I can go to this place.
I can try to be myself.
And if maybe I don't realize how loud I'm being, the library person is going to be polite.
They're going to come up to me and we're going to have a conversation and we're going to figure out how to make it the best library day for everybody involved.
No, I entirely different.
This was never a dream.
This was never like a, what if this happens?
I honestly tell people half the time that if I knew all this was going to happen, as thankful as I am for it, I don't know if I would have started posting on social media.
I think I thought maybe 100, maybe 200 people max would resonate with what I was talking about.
And thousands, about 10,000 people started reacting to what I was talking about the library.
And I think it's honestly,
you know, the conversation just because we were all feeling so lonely.
We were all going through so much.
And I have a particular joy, a particular love of the library.
I think just, I think when I talk about it, there's just that excitement and it comes through out of me.
And I think people remember that they had a similar excitement, probably not as high as mine, but a similar excitement of their own local library and their library experiences.
